okay okay, here it is, the backstabber of the day:

The Video-Channel of HCWORLDWIDE is making money off bands content although they claim to do "this" for the "love for hardcore music".. yeah of course and the love for money.

I recently watched a video of "us" on their account and discovered that I had to watch a "full-video-ad" (a so called Pre-Roll) before I could see OUR video, we payed some grands for. This actually means that they get payed from Youtube for the attention they gain thru other bands Video content. We wouldn't be pissed if they only uploaded the video but making money and claiming to be diy is fucked up.

So If you play in a band and you don't want somebody else fool the world by financing their new flatscreen OFF your Video, report the violation to youtube

Fuck Fuck Fuck, Shame on me that I didn't check that band before. I stumbled across their first record in my fathers in law record-collection and I was stoked, speechless. It was feeling like listening to the bad brains or the mags first time. I always had much love for Body Count, Bad Brains, Living Color and even for Lenny Kravitz (!!). This Band is a fuckin miracle: Take Infectious Grooves, those bands named before, a certain amount of metal, vicious guitar solos played on stratocasters and jcm 800s and put even two spoons more soul than expected in it and there you have it. By the way, they come to europe and play a show in Cologne in march and guess whos attending. Yeah! Me and my Dad in law.

Is it me or is it that most bands have no ideas and try to immitate another boring copy of a boring band? Trends, I say, won't work no more. One should try to be different. Even in "hardcore-music" are boundaries that a band has to break to reach other levels. Fuck industry standards cos they make bands sound the same. Back to the rooty and don't sell out. Use your ears and listen to real producers. People like david gibson, rick rubin or josh silver had the balls and the ideas to make milestones of music history but how? BY USING THEIR EARS AND BRAINS. Nows your turn to underdstand what that means. C'mon and read books, there plenty of good ones to get an insight of what matters when it comes to music.
